Mother & Baby Support Group and the Family Guide to JakartaMother & Baby Support GroupA network for English speaking mothers (and fathers) with infants, this support group has proved invaluable when trying to meet other mothers with young children. It provides an informal venue in South Jakarta where you can relax and discuss any issues concerning your baby. Over the years many lasting friendships and successful baby groups have started up through meeting others at this weekly event. There are children all around the world who are still in contact with friends they first played with at the Mother & Baby Support Group when they were tiny babies. The group meets each Wednesday from 9.30am to 11.30am and a midwife / nurse is available for a “Question & Answer Session”. You will be able to weigh and measure your baby at every visit. If you feel like meeting other mothers with babies, come join us at our Mother & Baby Support Group. Tea, coffee and cake will be available. A small donation would be welcome and will be put towards funding the medical, nutritional and educational programmes provided by Yayasan Balita Sehat for underprivileged Indonesian mothers and their children.
